  • Mike Petrie - President
    Michael Petrie is a New Jersey native who completed his undergraduate work at the Richard Stockton University in 1993, and his graduate work at Fairleigh Dickison University in 1995, with a focus on I/O Psychology and Human Factors Engineering. Following his education, Michael began his career in Human Resources, moving into the Behavioral Healthcare / Employee Assistance marketplace as a consultant providing hands-on employee consultations, management trainings and sales presentations.

    In 1999, Michael formally called upon his IT education and skills and joined the ever-growing IT sector within behavioral health and human services as a systems analyst, project manager and sales engineer, with a focus on dynamic, database-driven, web-based applications serving both the Echo Group and, later, Netsmart Technologies. He has since evolved into focusing primarily on the development and implementation of web based applications, electronic interfaces, portals, and solutions for all marketplaces. His skills include most aspects of modern web-based programming and integration (e.g., SOA, XML, OOP), database programming and administration, and platform presentations and training. In 2009, Michael formed Virtulink, LLC, a New Jersey based company.

     
  • Chuck Dixon - Associate Executive Consultant
    Chuck Dixon completed his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan and is a Certified Microsoft Systems Engineer and Trainer. In the last fifteen years, Chuck has served in a variety of roles and organizations including software trainer, network engineer, project manager, project executive, sales engineer, sales, as well as, management roles associated with these functions. Chuck's experience includes multiple facility software implementations (clinical and financial), sales and software procurement (including the largest Behavioral Health market deal in the United States), training, software configuration and project / staff management. Chuck's experience provides our clients with a unique blend of both technology and business process consulting that is hard to replicate.

     
  • Terry McLeod - EHR and Software Consulting Associate
    Terry McLeod started his career working with the Electronic Health Record in the 1990s, helping to build the infrastructure at Johnson Computing and helped expand the company to dominate a hyper-vertical substance abuse market with an electronic record both nationwide and in the United Kingdom. Subsequently Terry worked with Netsmart Technologies, in New York, integrating the Johnson customer-base into the Netsmart superstructure. After a decade of project administration and management, sales and product management, Terry entered the consulting field. The past several years have been spent selecting EHRs, implementing and optimizing software and providing technical services like designing reporting tools to assist management of behavioral health organizations.

     
  • Michelle Simon - Graphic and Web Design Associate
    Michelle has been working in the web design/programming field for 6 years. She started her career as a graphic designer at a small web design firm. After three years, she decided to pursue freelance projects so she could be a work at home mother. Michelle is currently working as a lead web design, graphic design and programming resource for Virtulink's website and application projects.

    Michelle received her Web Design Diploma and studied Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She also studied graphic design at Platt College in Denver, Colorado. Her skills include Web Design, CSS, HTML, PHP, Webservices, MySQL, JavaScript and Flash. Michelle continually keep her skills up to date with the newest techniques out there. Michelle enjoys her free time with her husband and three kids.

     
  • Dominic Bombace - Mobile App Associate
    Dominic Bombace received his Computer Science Degree from Rutgers University In 2011. While enrolled at Rutgers he also worked as a consultant in the areas of quality assurance, web design, and web app development as well as iPhone and android app development.

    Dominic tries to use and contribute to the latest open source development frameworks and tools. His strongest skills include Java, HTML, JavaScript, MySQL, SQLite, Dojo Toolkit, jQuery, Titanium Appcelerator, WaveMaker, and GIMP. When he's not coding depending on the season you'll find him either driving his convertible or snowboarding.

    Established in 2009, Virtulink is a small but rapidly growing firm.
